If a machine were the adversary

October 12, 2025 · 3 minute read

A thought the ministry published plainly: the danger is not a spectacular apocalypse. It is a distracted heart.

The ministry asked an uncomfortable question in public. If an adversary were handed the tools of this age, he would not need a flood or a meteor. Spectacle is easy to notice. A quieter ruin is a person who no longer knows what is true, no longer prays, and no longer looks up from the glow.

We are not teaching that a tool is a devil. A hammer is not holy or wicked. We are teaching discernment. Do not believe every spirit. Try them. Scripture gets the first word, not the feed. The sword of the Spirit is the word of God — and it is useless if the only text you know by heart is whatever outraged you this morning.

Love the person in front of you more than the argument on the screen. Use what helps you serve. Refuse anything that disciples you away from Christ. We are not afraid of machines. We are unwilling to be pastored by them.
