The growth of The Mighty Warriors Ministry

July 13, 2025 · 3 minute read

What began as a local work has stretched into an online ministry with houses for every stage of life.

The Mighty Warriors Ministry has grown by staying aimed at one thing: people actually meeting Jesus, and then growing up in Him. Minister Allen Gibson, founder, has kept that aim in front of the work — community, spiritual growth, and a refusal to make the ministry a club for people who already agree.

The houses tell the story. Rhea leads the women’s ministry, building faith that shows up in real community. Bryan leads the men, with brotherhood, accountability, and a call to serve at home and beyond it. Around them are rooms we mean to keep open: single adults, young adults from 18 to 25, and teens who need a foundation before the culture offers them a thinner one.

The reach widened when the ministry took the gathering online. Services, virtual Bible study, and prayer that crosses an ocean are not a backup plan. They are how an international people actually meet. Where we can, we partner with local churches so the work has roots in a real place, not only in a feed.

Growth, for us, is not a crowd. It is a disciple who stays, a leader who serves, and a person far from Honolulu who is no longer alone in the faith. We are still that ministry. If you have been watching from the edge, come in.
