Christian benefaction goes beyond mere financial contributions; it involves wholeheartedly supporting the work of the Kingdom, including the establishment and growth of new churches. It's a holistic commitment of time, talents, and treasures to advance God's purposes on earth.

2 Corinthians 9:11 (NIV) reminds us of the purpose of our blessings: "You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us, your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God."

Christian benefactors recognize their role as stewards entrusted with resources for the benefit of others and stewardship of blessings to a new church and for God's Glory.

The Importance of Growing a New Church:

Mark 16:15 (NIV) emphasizes the mission of spreading the Gospel: "He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.'"

Supporting a new church contributes to the fulfillment of this Great Commission, reaching new communities with the message of Christ.

 Building God's Kingdom:

Matthew 16:18 (NIV) expresses Christ's promise regarding the growth of His Kingdom: "And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it."

  • As Christian benefactors invest in new churches, they actively participate in the building of God's enduring Kingdom.

Biblical Verses for Growing a New Church:

 Proverbs 19:17 (NIV):

"Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for their deeds."

  • Christian benefactors recognize that their support for new churches is an investment in the Lord's work, with the promise of divine reward.

Malachi 3:10 (NIV):

"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,' says the Lord Almighty, 'and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.'"

  • This verse highlights the principle of faithful giving and the abundance of blessings that flow from supporting God's work.

 2 Corinthians 9:7 (NIV):

"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."

  • Christian benefactors are encouraged to give willingly and joyfully, recognizing the cheerful heart behind the act of giving.

 Acts 20:35 (NIV):

"In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work, we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"

  • The joy and blessing in giving are emphasized here, reinforcing the spiritual fulfillment that comes from supporting the needs of others, including new churches.

Being a Christian benefactor involves a profound commitment to advancing God's Kingdom, especially in the growth of new churches. Through financial contributions, active involvement, and prayerful support, benefactors play a vital role in fulfilling the Great Commission and building God's enduring Kingdom on earth. As Christian benefactors embrace their role, they not only invest in new churches but also sow seeds of transformation, leaving a lasting legacy for generations to come.
